Enjoying my yard

We've had plenty of rain so the yard is looking great. Last year the flowerbed around the bird bath did not do well. Verbenas just took it over and never bloomed. But, all good things come to those who wait.........
The verbena came back this spring but only in the right places and I have blooms....
I planted one sprig of dianthus and it is so colorful.
The African Daisies are beautiful. I do love those so much. In fact, I am just crazy about any daisy.
And, the Stella de Ora (did I get that right) day lillies are a wonderful ray of sunshine all day long.
So, when I sit out on the patio I have all these beautiful flowers to enjoy. Aren't I lucky??

Hi Latane, your garden is blooming beautifully!I love the bird bath with flower bed. It is a joy to see flowers re emerging after the long cold winter when I thought most if not all of them had died.

Beautiful flowers, Latane. I love the birdbath, too. What is it about flowers that can take your breath away just for a bit? God did a wonderful job, didn't he?

Friends,
Susannah

You certainly are blessed to have such a beautiful garden to enjoy. It must keep you busy watering, weeding, etc. (but worth it).

I love your beautiful flower bed. Get ready for hot weather tomorrow. It is an unseasonably hot 88 degrees here today.

Your flowers are just beautiful. We have had many wildflowers blooming in our yard - lots of daisies, red and white clover. I wish that I could bring you up here and show you all of the daises. They are everywhere! I enjoy them too.

While we were driving home from church yesterday, I was looking at all of the flowers we passed by. They are lovely to look upon.
